NuCare Health (Pty) Ltd was established in 2006 with the primary objective of building integrated health services at the General Practitioner level, within the CareCross Group networks, whereby a holistic healthcare model is offered to all the leading Medical Schemes and their patients. In this way significant value is added to the participating doctors’ practices.
Focus Areas:
- Nucare works closely with all the contracted Medical Schemes to promote and educate the network health practitioners and their patients in all aspects of the various specialised programs they offer to ensure a seamless integration in the administration between the patients, the health practitioners and the medical schemes. Branding and promotions, compliance to agreed protocols and formularies and the rapid resolution of any issues at practice level are a key aspect of this service.
- Co-marketing and promotion of medicines and medical equipment supplied by key partners is a key activity whereby compliance and guaranteed quality care for all patients within the networks are ensured.
- Implementation and participation of the health practitioners in well-established continuing medical education (CME) programs is a core focus in driving a quality service at affordable prices for contracted medical schemes’ patients.
- Coaching groups and close support from qualified nurse practitioners for chronic patients requiring special attention is supplied and administered through NuCare, including the direct distribution of medicines through our affiliated company, Chronicare where required.
- The NuCare infrastructure and our team of highly trained and experienced consultants ensure all participating doctor practices are well supported nationally, which is a key differentiating factor.
